Boy, am I going to get slack for this, but that isn't important right now.
Recently, I've been going on a feminism binge as I am one myself. What I found suprised me, open my eyes, disturbed me, and even angered me. On youtube, there is a chanel called Feminist Frequency. She points out a lot tropes in shows, games, and movies that I hadn't even recognized, even though I am a Troper. And I found it all interesting, some stuff I agree with and others I don't, but what bugged me most wasn't even what she said. It was how people reacted to it. She had to turn off the comment section because she was receiving nasty hateful mail, trolling messages, and death threats. Death threats. Why would people in today's modern society do such a thing for someone stating for what they believe in. Then again, this is the internet and everyone's protected by their screen when they wouldn't have to guts to say it to her face or to the faces of the viewers who agree with her.
Now, not only did I find such reactions on the channel, but also to several other sites like heartless-bitches (recommend it), sites on Friendzoning, "nice guy" sites, and simply googling and google imaging this stuff. And honestly, what bugs me the most is that it's more often then not guys that are doing this. Why? What has the males that do this so gripped with hatred over feminism? Terms like femi-Nazis, or, forgive my language, "dykes that can't get laid" are frequent over the web, and it's downright insane with how they act. Now don't get me wrong. There are females who believe that they are better then males, and there are female who are misandrists, the female equivalent of misogynists, but many keep mashing the two together like they are the same thing. And they aren't, but yet many feel threatened and continuously feel inclined that they are, yet many claim that they are "pro-women", which doesn't make any sense; It's saying I hate feminism, but I'm a feminist.
Honestly, I could go on forever about it, but I'll leave the thought here and I ask what do you think about all this web-crap? I may post one more journal, kind of a story of what say.....a female gamer who happens to be a feminist sees and what it would be like to Flip the Script.

Well, I got accepted into AoA a few months ago. To attend my summer semester, I'm leave the coop and moving down South June 2. The transitions happening all so fast. I'm scared. But for those who know me in real life, you all know how much I want to go there. To my bitches and bastards I'm leaving up here, if I don't get to say it face to face, I love you all and I know we'll be able to hang out in the future (more of an incentive to get my license! >XD). Talk to y'all later.
